Need help figuring out how much to feed baby goats. They are 3 weeks old alpine bucklings that are being bottle fed. They are only 7 lbs right now and I'm seeing different amounts all over the place. Some people say 10% of there body weight? Any help would be appreciated thanks

Standard Alpines right? 1 quart am and 1 quart pm maximum per kid with free fed high quality alfalfa available to encourage rumen development. Are they going to auction as meat? If going to auction do not castrate or disbud since ethnic buyers want them whole and with horns. If selling as pets, they should have been disbudded by 2 weeks and castrated by 2 months so testes can fall of before selling. Sell them by 3 months since they will just be drinking your milk supply which is your profit margin (or break even). They can be weaned by 3 months. If keeping them as bucklings, pen separate from doe kids and mature does.
