I harvested 2 medium supers on July 4th. I had another that I put some incomplete frames in. Some had full capped honey on one side. A few had a little bit of brood and some were not completely drawn out. I put that super together with a queen excluder then left it for 8 weeks ( I ment to check it sooner) I finally got around to checking it today and it was completely drawn out and full !!!

Yay, Congrats! That's how my harvest was too. I extracted mid July, and put the super back on for the bees to clean up........and then promptly forgot about it. Came back to a full, capped super. :celebrate

This year was so awesome for honey! Best year yet in the 5 years I've had bees.

Fingers crossed for this year too!

With the record setting rainfall we had this year, it should be a fantastic honey year! CA officially hit the wettest year on record. (of 100 or so years of tracking)
