My first drop spindle shows up tomorrow, attempted some yarn making on random objects. Made my own from wire and a cup to test if I was even able to make it, that's the curled one. It set, yay, so ordered a proper spindle. Then I got bored this morning waiting on the needles to show, so I used a 1/2" cpvc pipe to make some more. Used the AC unit to dry it. Turned out much better.

Then my needle felting needles came in today, yippy! So I made a sheep! Didn't start taking progress pics until late. I think it still needs some barrel fluffing.

All from Lolla's short, in grease, wool.

Pics!

You know those 'self cleaning' moldable art erasers? I used to buy 3 or 4 of them and smoosh them together, then make little doggies out of them. Lol
Much better than messy clay!

Forgot I had started threads here about this.

Going to try and post pictures of all the little projects. They won't be in order.

Bought 2# of Cheviot fleece, washed and trying to make thicker single ply, I heard longer staple is easier, but it doesn't seem too true yet, lol. I think I'm having to relearn, now that its not short staple.
