Good morning all! I'm so happy to join. I've wanted goats forever, and I've now got a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. We're pretty new to them, and we have a lot to learn. I did a ton of research prior to bringing them home, but I'm a firm believer that experience goes a long way! We also have a LGD and kunekune pigs.

Welcome to the forum from east Texas. I have Katahdin sheep and LGDs to guard them. This is a friendly place, make yourself at home.

Hello and welcome! We just got three Nigerian Dwarf goats in May. I hope to milk mine someday but they're not old enough to breed yet. Having a lot of fun with them in the meantime. We also have chickens and American Guinea hogs. Looking forward to hearing more about your farm and animals, and seeing pictures if you're inclined to post any. :)

Thanks BarnOwl! We plan to milk ours as well. I have 4 that are for sure ND, but my older 2 I think may have some Pygmy. We shall see. They were in rough shape, but I've got them looking better now. I'd be happy to share pics!
Thanks for the Texas Welcome as well :)
We also have rex rabbits here that are due Thanksgiving, a duck who thinks he's a dog, and some chickens. We've got a mean broody at the moment who didn't get the memo it's not chick season lol
My older does were exposed early September, but I'm not sure if they took. My other girls are too young yet.

I hope so! I was hopeful on Ms Lily before, but I think she just likes her hay 🤣
These are my "puppies". The mail lady gave me a weird look, but oh well.
Rascal is my Boston Terrier, and he thinks he's a farm dog. We added a great pyr to the pasture, and she's fantastic. Rascal likes to patrol with her sometimes, and I think it's hilarious.
