Hi All,
I'm sure this has been answered multiple times, and I've checked out several threads, but I'm wondering...how much and how often do I administer kaopectate to a 2 yr old wether with scours. He's eating hay and drinking water and is pretty active. He's with 3 other goats, all girls, and all NOT scouring.

Anything else I should do? We just bought him this weekend from our breeder and she said he'd been having issues like this on and off.

Thanks.....

SOB

We give pepto
I think its 1 ML per 5 lbs
We give adults like 15 ML
You can just syringe
It tastes good and they take it fairly readily

I would try to find out what is causing the scours as well. Masking the symptom will not fix the underlying issue.
A fecal would be well worth the money. A little blood work can really give you some answers.
