I have a doe that is giving me fits! She's a 6 year old lamancha. I bred her in September and she miscarried 10/31. I gave her some time off then bred her again on 12/29. And again 1/19. And was so frustrated when she went back in heat in February and was bred 2/10. Every 21-22 days like clockwork!

On 3/5, 23 days later, she had a little bit of a gunky tail, but no other sign of heat. I attributed that to the end of the breeding season.

What has me perplexed is that she's getting bigger by the day! She looks like my goats who are 4 months pregnant! I tried to draw blood this morning for BioTracking and failed miserably. The only thing that lost any blood was my finger. I'm going to try again this evening.

Has anyone else had a doe go into heat after she was bred? I know the buck is fertile.

I hope you can get some blood on her.
That is the only way to know for sure.

I thought lamanchas were seasonal breeders....are they still having heats in February?
I saw someone on here say they used an at home pregnancy test and had the goat pee on it. Maybe try that. ?
