HVAC guy said they'd come by later.

Sun is out, wind is blowing... 23 actual on the recording thermometer... hit 37 when the sun hit it, sun nwill hit it again late afternoon...

I love my HVAC guys. The tech who came said the pressure switch froze up, and it's common. He added that he replaced one yesterday, but mine was the second switch he replaced today, and he has to order more...

Thank You, Lord, for that switch being available!

I'm starting to feel my feet.

I absolutely hate driving in snow and ice. I work in an ER full time and another hospital part time. The bosses act like you need to be bleeding out your eyes before you can call out due to weather.

My job -- I set my own time & dates, within the framework assigned the jobs. It's the only benefit. We all know livestock sets the rules and some days present the unexpected -- without apology!

I worked in an non-clinical admin position with a hospital. Their motto was Business as Usual even with severe weather conditions.

Yeah, hospitals are like first responders. They all need to "work thru it" like it wasn't affecting them. The general public doesn't realize how special they are. Some hospitals provide a sleep area for some personnel when the travel is bad in snow, ice, etc.
