Katahdin lamb shedding

For some reason I thought I heard that katahdins don't shed their hair until they are older. My lamb is about 4 months old and seems to be shedding her curly hair. Is this normal?

Yes that is normal. Some keep their baby fuzz, some shed it right off.
Brush her, she will learn to enjoy it and follow you around for more.

Okay thanks. I'm still very new to sheep. I'm definitely loving them though. I only have 2 so they feel more like pets and they are so funny and sweet. I'm having a lot of fun with them.
