Hi all!

My poor girl Mocha is very cold this winter, We sheared them in the spring, but her hair is taking a bit longer to grow back then our other llama,

and i just realized i can probably buy a blanket for her, and so I'm looking into that.

So far i've only found two sites selling them,

And i have a question about this one: http://www.rockymtllamas.com/llama-coats.html Does this one seem like its only for sleeping? because it seems like its a little bulky and awkward.

Also, would a small horse blanket work just as well for a llama or would the blanket need to be for llamas especially?

I don't see why a horse blanket wouldn't work. I think the one your looking at is for full time use, not just sleeping. It looks to me like they make them out of old sleeping blankets. It would pretty easy to make.

A small horse one should work. There should be other coats out there that are more like dog coats. The other option is an extra large or XXL vest. You put it on backward so the zipper goes along their back.
