I’ve had 10 kids so far today inside my garage. I’ve been fortunate to have good weather every time up til now, but they were calling for 12” snow and wind. Anyway, I have them in heated garage.
Do I need to worry about sending them out the door to thier pen which has 2’ drifts? Do they need acclimatized or anything or just tough as nails like the older goats?
All are Pygmy and Pygmy fainters.
I figured Wednesday will be low 40’s. Haven’t done the kid thing inside before and didn’t want to do harm to em.

I think age will have a bearing on it... How old are the kids? How long have they been in the artificial warmth of the garage? I don't think I'd want to kick them outside with a blizzard forecast... Maybe you could put warming coats/sweaters on them to help insulate them a bit? Do they have some shelter from the wind/wet/snow out there?

Oh, maybe you're just talking about letting them go outside for a romp? If that's the case, I'd say sure, let them go out if they want, but keep a close eye on them till you're sure they can handle it OK. If not, you can always let them back in...
