What's wrong with rabbit hides? ........... oh the poor little bunnies!!!!!! NOBODY should hurt them or HORRORS!!!! Actually EAT them!!! How barbaric! There is vegetarian meat printed off a 3 D printer that people can eat, full of protein (cricket meal)

I'm told we have those at our new house. Need to figure out how to trap them. Previous owners said they got overrun with them last year and put out traps that worked really well. I found some traps online but they can't be shipped to CA so I'll have to see if I can find them on my next trip there and get them put up.

Get a shop vac and just suck those ladybugs up!

Got an email today saying we can no longer get rabbit hide cat toys shipped to CA due to passing assembly bill 44. They were notifying that any orders already placed but not shipped will be canceled now. I have hides I intend to tan (if I can figure it out) to make our own kickers with but I'm glad to have an out of CA address now if I want to order more for the new house since I am not doing any sewing etc currently.

Ah geeze - yet another hugger law. We're lucky we can get some vaccines for animals w/o a vet. I'm sure that's next on the list to go. It's like a trip over the border to AZ or NV is becoming more and more the thing. Wondering if there are any "addresses" for sale. OH - get this -- to go to a new vet with you dog you have to have proof of vaccinations to start -- state law they told me. Last time I went to a closer vet for just a check (~4 yrs ago) on something I gave them all the info w/my current vet and they called and told my vet I was switching to them. Almost lost my good vet over that since they thought I'd changed. Long history with them and I was ok - but seriously I will not give out that info ever again. This state is so f-ed with tree-hugger, politicians, and whackos. There are a lot of us sane ones - but we're too busy working while the others have nothing better to do than control us through their laws. (hurry kick that soapbox out from under me - please!).

I couldn't live there. Alaska either but, that's just a weather issue. Your snakes would have me in a panic. We have timber rattlers in VA but, generally not my area often. But water moccasins & copperheads are more frequent. The rat snakes are common & a PIA.

Haven't seen any snakes here yet, but kids are starting to play outside more as the weather is nicer. It makes me freak out they are going to have an encounter.

Irises are blooming! Some are NOID that I might finally be able to figure out too, their first time blooming since I got them.
