My 3 month old berk became lathargic yesterday as did the other two... she threw up a bit tonight...

they have lots of water, hog grower and cracked corn, lots of kitchen scraps... two weeks ago we recieved some wheat which we mostly rehydrate though a bit has been given to them not rehydrated.... not sure if I should worry or not?

It is snowing here and has been quite cold as well

Any thoughts?

geez... I don't know nor have I heard of that before.... our last berks were fine but they didn't deal with winter. The breeder up the road leaves them out all the time so I doubt weather is the issue.

What is the vaccine / symptoms for that?

Thanks so much for your response

:D

Any large animal vet should have Erysipelas vaccine available, and it isn't very expensive. Erysipelas is an organism that lives in dirt, and I forgot that cholera is eradicated in the USA. Sorry about making you worry about something that doesn't exist any longer.

Do a google search on erysipelas in hogs for more information.
