@babsbag what about red cedar? I don't know if you have any in your area, but it grows fairly fast, not like the Eucalyptus trees, but they grow well, wide and over time, tall. They are evergreen and block out whatever you don't want to look at. We have a lot of them on our place and we love them. So do the sheep!

We have Western Red cedars but they grow at a much higher elevation than where I live. I don't think that they would do well here. Plus I like the fact the that Eucalyptus has bee food.
