Just brought our kids home this past Saturday (first time goat owners) they are 9 weeks old and the black and white one appears to have what looks like lice nits? I've never seen goat lice so I can't be sure. what is the best\most effective way to treat if that's what this is? its hard to see as the sun obviously blanched out the picture, but it's these tune beige colored things all along his top line in patches.

You can use Python Dust
That's the easiest
Or you can mix permethrin in a pump up sprayer
Either will work for lice
You can get both at TSC
Permethrin also works on mites not sure about Python Dust

For future reference....
Will the permethrin work on wool sheep? Best to do it after shearing is my guess. Do you know how much to spray on a goat or sheep that is 50-100 pounds?
