I am thinking of building a ramp for my llama to use to get up to the back of our pickup. I was looking online at YouTube video's of llama obstacles to see if any of them use a ramp obstacle. I haven't found one yet.....but I came across this video which was pretty funny... you have to watch the first person, and then the 2nd person is the funny part. http://youtu.be/kppIxlxTy8k

But as far as a ramp, I'm trying to decide if 2ft wide is too narrow......any ideas?

I would probably do at least 2.5 feet wide. Once trained, they should be able to walk up a ramp with no problem.

Start out with a very wide ramp, then slowly start narrowing it.

Thanks ksalvagno! My plan is to start with the ramp flat on the ground, and gradually start elevating it. Having it wider at first makes good sense.
