Hello all,
We just bought two goats-one about 4 months old, one about five months old. These are our first goats. Both were clear eyed and healthy looking when we bought them. We've carefully watched their droppings to make sure they stay healthy and happy. They both had firm and normal droppings.
Yesterday I noticed one of my goats started having droppings that were clumped together instead of dry(ish) and seperated. Our other goat has runny diarrhea that isn't in the form of droppings at all. Completely un-formed.
They are on a feed of clean water, any grass and leaves of their choosing while on their teather as well as alfalfa hay and purina feed.
I'm wondering if they're just not used to the "new" feed or if I've got sick goats on my hands? Any thoughts? We've only had them for under a week so far.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
