Our Llama, Tina, has what looks like an abcess on her face. Initially I thought it was cud, but it has remained there for 2 days now and I am concerned. Any ideas/suggestions?

It looks bigger... I would have a vet see it... they may need to lance it and clean it if it is an abscess.

Yep, you should have a vet look at her.
Could be a tooth, salivary gland, or Actinomycosis.

So, they are thinking it's a bone infection, or a tooth abcess. Prob hauling her in for x-rays.

It's a fracture! They did x-rays and there is a mild fracture and it's healing. They said it just has to do its own thing and heal. Checked the teeth and everything.

Does that seem weird? That a fracture would cause swelling bone?
