Hi!

I gained one goat from the neighborhood, because I have a weed problem and it was otherwise going to be shot. So I thought it'll be better off with me than dead.

There's two goats in total, but one is yet to be caught, so it will have a friend soon. It is a one year old boer Billy.

The person I got the animal from had the goats for controlling gorse on a paddock resembling the Grand Canyon. It only got bread as food and what was available on the paddock.

I put him in our dry shelter and soon realized he is way too thin, malnourished and worst of all will not eat. Not sure if it has ever seen hay or pellets in his life!
He was drenched before he got here, but that should have happened a while ago...

What should I do? I'm worried it will die. Doesn't seem sick otherwise.

Cheers ❤
