Found this on the neck of my youngest, a Nubian wether. New to this, so looking for best path forward for treatment for all of my goats and bedding, if needed

Well.... . First, do you know it is mange?

I would look closely at them all.

It doesn't look bitten off, or pinched off....

Up here at least, often hair loss is copper deficiency, so I would consider that too.

I've edited the title. It was supposed to have a question mark.

No, I have no idea what it is. Mites, Lice, copper related, allergies, or Alien experiments. I don't see anything living or crawling, No other symptoms on other 6 Nubians or him.

Mites, lice, and mange are usually spread through a herd.

Usually, if one has ot the rest have it.

In my little goat herd, I had one girl that would show copper deficiency way before anyone else.

Copper deficiency can cause patchy hair loss.

Is your area of the world low in copper?
