Margali's Griffin Wood Ranch

Rehoming is probably for the best. Often when an older puppy (up to 24 mos) is offered as an LGD it is because the dog was not a good guardian prospect, the owners did not realize that they had to be proactive in training, or most important, the fences were not adequate to contain an LGD. Hard to make the decision, but at least you tried hard to overcome any problems. And let's face it, just because he is an LGD breed if he is not on your property or with the sheep he is not much protection.

So tired but have farm chores to do. And a list of phone calls to make for Monday: trailer new tires and kitten checkup / shots for Newton.

I'm guessing he is very young under normal weaning age. He weighs 1lb 5.5oz so very tiny. We are offering two 3oz cats of wet kitten food daily.

I went out and worked on home acre fence this morning. I got the spot behind the fire hydrant patch and continued to clear the fence line. Good timing since a bike rider passed walking his bike while dogs came up to alert. He stated they chased him recently. I apologized and said I fixed that hole and working on the rest.

Tired from weed whacking a path behind house. This is $6,660 worth of ac units and scaffolding for install. Now comes fun on installing it.

He's very attentive to the OK crew especially Shy Lady. I'm fine with them getting bred.

I want to give Aria a break to regain condition. Scarf is only 8 months old and on small side. I think Coconut and Socks at 4 months old are olay. I have the non-breeding group in north pen with the wethers.
