Alexander is FINE! Our nerves not so much...
Hubby got off work call that started at 3pm and realized it was almost 6pm. Also that Alexander didn't text he was getting on school bus that should have dropped him off already.
Alijah pings his phone on Family app and he's in Weatherford. That's 1 hour north-west of us, WTF! Hubby jumps in truck to drive to school while trying to call it. No answer of course and then he calls me. I tell him to call 911 if he can't get ahold of anyone from school. No answer at Middle School Alex attends when banging on door so he called 911. He gets to the high school and School Resource Officer answers the damn door. SRO tells him there is a UIL event in Weatherford and berates husband for calling 911.
I'm suprised husband didn't punch him. I would have. We recieved ZERO paperwork or notice about an off-campus UIL event. We doublechecked emails after finding out where he was. We currently stalking his phone which is at 35% battery because we don't know when they are supposed to be back.
As a reminder, Alex has autism and issues with changing schedules. That is why he is supposed to text before getting on bus. Apparently, that only meant "before getting on bus to go home" to him. Sigh, I'm having desert for dinner.
