Ranch Update
We are under contract for 2 townedge lots that total 0.7022acres in Pearland. We are supposed to close May 14th. This lets us move mobile home off as soon as school ends May 22nd. Lot is big enough we can have rabbits. We "may" be able to swing a few sheep under the 4H exemptions but I can't check until we have possession. The biggest thing is this clears the 12.9 acre ranch for sale at beginning of summer break.

In other new, I've learned my skills in title research are better than the actual ones hired by title company for this deal! It is apparently a $38k plus job and fully remote. I think I found a paying side gig. :lol:
 
3/4 acres in town? What will you do about your sheep? If you go with rabbits make tsure to have dog proof fencing around the rabbitry. Dogs in town are just as bad and sometimes worse than country dogs running loose. You can shoot loose dogs in the country.
 
@Ridgetop This is ~1year temp spot that will be turned into rental home later. Once the Cleburne acreage sells, we can buy a raw parcel that is about 10min from this lot and start fencing, etc. As soon as fence is in, we can get our sheep on it while well is dug and house is built. Well quote is $25k but 4-6mo waitlist.
Rabbit barn will be a carport with 4x4 cattle panel walls and door.
