Loving the herd life
So last night went by my favorite Ma & Pa Pet store and they had this beauty. Pretty sure she is Angora and she is soo sweet and cuddling. Very calm and docile doe happily curled up and wanted pets. Loves to have her head scratched, she had a couple little mats on the base of her neck/shoulder. Never owed a Angora before but looking forward to the experience. Have wanted to learn to spin wool for years so this will be great. Now if she turns out not to be an Angora then she will just be a well loved bun bun all the same. Am going to guess she will kindle in about 25 days (she got to the pet store 3-4 days ago and was in a communal cage with bucks). Currently she is inside in one of the plastic and wire cages but she doesn't have a house or kit box in there was thinking to put in a couple weeks as well as a shelf where she can get away from the kits and will of course be wrapping the bottom/middle of the cage with a fine mesh to ensure no kits full out. She is about 7 pounds and was told she was an Angora and about a year old.
