Is it hard to keep mini pigs contained in their pen? And at what age can they breed? What age is it safest to allow them to breed? Thanks in advance!

a lot of what I have read over the years is the female pbp will usually go into first heat around 4 or 5 months old. generally 'they' say to wait until at least 6mo but many prefer 9+mo old and plenty still say not until 1yr old.
personally from my other animal experience if/when I get my own I will probably go with around 7mo old first breeding.
