When this litter was initially born, I thought it was 3 sable points and one blue silver marten. That's what the buck and doe in the pairing were, respectively.

Today when I was cleaning cages, I got a good look at them, and now I'm really not sure.

I could use some insight. I'll mention what I believe they are, and then sit back and get an education. :)

The 4. One I'm confident is a Blue silver marten. Looks just like mom.

This one, I think is a smoke pearl, or a smoke pearl marten. I'm not sure on the marten part, the markings don't seem to line up like I'd expect for a marten.

This one, I'm thinking blue point?

And lastly this one. I think it could be a sable point, it's got a lot of brown in it's coat too.

They all look dilute to me - what color are their eyes?

@Bunnylady They seem to be bluish grey, except the one that I'm calling a blue point. I think it actually has dark blue eyes. I'll see if I can get them in some better light and verify that.

Remember that baby colors can be a bit weird, especially when you are dealing with temperature-sensitive colors like the shaded group.

I agree that the one most likely is a Blue Silver Marten. Smoke Pearl Marten on the next - if you have white inside the ears, it's an Agouti or Tan, whether you see all of the markings or not. Blue Point Marten on the third - once again, look at the light insides of the ears; whatever color it is, it's martenized. The last, I suspect is a Blue Tort. Normally I'd expect to see more of a mask on a tort at this age, but there is a definite golden tone to the body color, and I think I see gray shading on the sides.

Since you have Chinchilla from your Silver Marten and Shaded from your Sable Point, I can't totally rule out weird things like blue variations on Sallander, but those are what I think I'm seeing at this point.:idunno

As always, thanks! This is our first pairing with these 2, and I'm in love with the colors they threw. They're all 4 sold if we deicde to let them go at this point. :)
