@GLENMAR know and understand that Nature heals us. If you have a deep gaping wound, our body heals it and covers it over with a scar. Our hearts get deeply broken, ripped asunder, Nature heals it and covers the break with a scar. Also know and understand that it is ok to keep living without guilt for being alive. It is ok to smile and laugh. It is ok to revel in the sunrise, to watch the magic of nesting birds until the baby birds fly away. It is not only ok to keep on living, but it is ok to find joy in life. Every now and then, you will bump that scar and it all comes flooding back to you and that's ok too. You can cry, let your feeling run wild, then get back up, dust off the seat of your pants and go back to living. At some point those tears turn to smiles as you remember the good times, the funny things and all the little things that made your relationship so wonderful. Your grief will slowly turn to gratefulness that you had those years together. It is part of the process as the scar slowly covers up the wound, the mind chooses to hold on to the good memories and remember the happy times. You were blessed in knowing that love. You had something so rare that people search all their lives and never find. The scar is still there, it will always be there, but even the scar fades as time heals all things.

And the people said "AMEN!"

Well spoken, thank you.

Wise words. I’ll keep reading them over and over
