Have any willow trees around? If so leaves and small branches from that...contain a compound like aspirin.
No unfortunately. I'm in north FL and I don't think those are native to the area.
I'm going to give the turmeric a go, and we'll see if that helps.
He's clearly had ALOT of human interaction; he's extremely tame and friendly. I just feel so bad for this poor guy, I'll gladly give him two weeks and whatever support I can.

Peewee is doing well. (Previous owners called him Kiwi thinking he was a girl, and Peewee is close enough that he still responds)
He is still favoring the leg a bit, but is much improved.
I've just spent the better part of an hour trying to track down a vet willing to castrate a mature pig. I finally found one, but they are over an hour from here. (Reasonably priced though, luckily)
So we'll continue the weight loss and body condition improvement plan for now and Peewee and I will go road trippin' soon.
Thank you all for the advice and encouragement!

Forgot to mention, I also did a hoof trim. He just lay there for it like a perfect gentleman that's known me for years. This guy is so nice.
