Oh, I'm gonna try. I'm going to dress as mousy as possible.

Weather has been so incredibly rainy. I don't mind generally, but it makes the pastures a soggy mess.
I was out in the sheep for for probably a half hour this morning repairing an electric fence "gate" and replacing a couple of other fiber glass poles. I had on water resistant pants, tall rain boots, a baseball cap, and a water resistant jacket. I was still soaked.
The kids are really enjoying it. The nightcrawlers are everywhere so the kids have been catching them. Plus crayfish and frogs. One of the boys even found a freshly hatched snapping turtle yesterday.
We were all recovered from the stomach bug we had and went to AWANA Wednesday night. Friday morning, the little guy woke up all snotty. One of the girls is down today. All I can figure is they picked up some new germs at awana. C'est la vie.

Little kids catch everything. You'd think that the grown ups would have immunity, but no, grown ups catch everything the kids do and the "bug" makes the rounds through the family.

I've heard they're delicious but I haven't tried them. I'm sure the kids would freak out if I suggested eating some.Crayfish are tasty.
If I ever go south to Lousiana or something, I'll be sure to try some authentic Cajun seafood boil!
