I haven't heard of that, but life will teach you that anything is possible. The spine is up above the lamb, so probably no pressure there. It could be something stuck in her hoof or maybe she stepped in a hole and pulled a ligament or a sprain. She is carrying extra weight and that puts a strain on her whole body. Front or back leg?

Congratulations on the lamb, where are the pictures??

What an ordeal for your parents, I hope their car is repairable. I'm glad they arrived safely at your house. How long are they staying? Enjoy their visit. :love

It's her back leg. She's not putting weight on it at all, poor thing. I checked her leg and hoof this morning and found no issues. We have a lot of crayfish holes so it's possible she strained it stepping in one or maybe that nerve pain from an unborn lamb. 🤷🏻‍♀️ hoping it gets better soon.

They're actually leaving tomorrow. They were here for a long weekend. They had a rental car and that was part of the debacle because it wasn't even their vehicle they were trying to get fixed. They lost a whole day of being here with us due to everything.
We're all having a great time. They attended the awana awards for the kids last night. We've watched Babe as a family and had lots of good food. A great visit! 😁

They're actually leaving tomorrow. They were here for a long weekend. They had a rental car and that was part of the debacle because it wasn't even their vehicle they were trying to get fixed. They lost a whole day of being here with us due to everything.

Glad you had a good visit with your parents. I hope the ewe does better with her leg, I have crawfish mounds and holes all over my fields. They are annoying. I just look at it like their holes help rain water soak in. Reality is, hit those tall mud dried rock chimneys with my bush hog pulled by my 23 HP Kubota and they will stall out the engine. :he :barnie:somad:tongue:rant

Love the color on your lamb. I have a ewe marked like that. I like the black colors on my sheep
 
Twins were born this afternoon. Not cleaned off or anything. First time mama is interested and calls and sniffs them but moves away when they try to nurse. She still has the afterbirth hanging and is arching her neck. I'm hoping she'll let them eat when she feels more comfortable. I separated her and the twins into a confined area so they don't get lost. The poor things were nuzzling and sniffing any ewes who let them.
