Things are looking decent! I've felt neurotic today, checking on BB so much. Many times she was letting her babies nurse so I think that's a win. I moved her from an indoor building to a grassed pasture with a shelter in the hopes that the grass would entice her to eat. It did! She grazed. Idk about water but she has two different sources available! Her udder looks awfully lopsided this evening when it looked normal this morning. I'm assuming that means the lambs are only nursing from one side. If it looks wonky tomorrow I'll check her to make sure it's not blocked or something. I got milk out of that teat this morning and it was fine so
Both lambs have round tummies
I moved my netting fence to contain part of the overgrown woods and back pasture for the main flock. Boy were they excited! There's enough there to feed them for a couple days , with the bonus of them mowing the alley and cleaning up along fence lines. My two younger boys were with me the whole time. All the kids have been obsessed with making mud balls recently. They amused themselves by making these balls and making different contest criteria, like how far can we throw it or how fantastic will the burst be when it hits the ground?
