Loving the herd life
Hello ya'll!
I recently rescued a goat and Dorper sheep that grew up together. The goat is fine, but the sheep sounds really nasally, like she is congested in the nose. Her nose does run clear. She has no cough. She does have some eye crusties. She is also overweight, so she does breathe a bit heavy. I have not taken her temp yet, but I will be doing that shortly. She is eating without issue. I am new to sheep so I am not certain if there is anything I should give her to try to clear up her nose, or if could be just allergies. I am giving her penicillin injections. She has had 2 so far. I am going to give her 4 total.
Thanks for the help!
