    I went to a show in one of the local villages yesterday and found a display of Native Irish Black Bees. I thought you all might like to see what we have here in Ireland. IMG_0959.jpg

    Here you can just see the queen, she has the yellow spot on her head for identification. According to the stall holder she is 4 years old. Sorry I couldn't get a better pic, she refuse to move out from behind this smeared piece of the glass.
