Just thought this was funny, not actually pertaining to goats, but who knows!!!

French farmer Michele Rouyer, who was discovered by police with about 11 pounds of packaged marijuana and a dozen plants, said the weed was not for himself but for the 150 ducks he raises -- in that a specialist had suggested that marijuana is an effective dewormer and fever-preventer. (Rouyer did acknowledge that, well, yes, maybe he smoked a little of it himself.) In November, a court in Rochefort fined him the equivalent of about $700 -- even though he insisted, proudly, that his ducks are, indeed, worm-free. [Toronto Star, 11-22-10]

That's hilarious!

I've often wondered if it might be a good way to boost the goats' appetite when they're off but since I don't think the fuzz would buy that line of reasoning I haven't tested that theory...

Probably wouldn't go for that with the cops in my area either.

Oh yes they are here too. People grow the stuff all over the place here and smoke it too.

Only a few weeks ago a guy up the road got fined $10,000 BZD for growing it.

Not for us, just thought it was a funny article.
