Neck Nodes in 5 month old goat

I have a 5 month old male that i was rubbing his neck and felt two small firm nodes in his neck. they are about 8mm in size, a little less than a dime. He is from my small herd that has tested negative to CL. Should I be worried or just watch to see if they get any larger?

I just thought of what it might be, the vet gave ketamine injections in these two areas, but I am going to watch them, they are firm, so I think since she did it jugular that there may have been some bleeding.

If he is very lean, or if you happen to be feeling a little deeper than just lightly petting him, you might be feeling his lymph nodes... depending on the size, they could be normal. Just like in other animals, they can enlarge when they are very active, responding to immune system challenges, infection, viruses, vaccines. Normally you wouldn't feel them unless you are trying to.
