Chillin' with the herd
Hello! I'm looking for forums to talk with others with similar lifestyles as myself! This one seemed appropriate!
My friends and family think we are, well, strange for homesteading, but we love it!
My husband and I live on 120 acres (shared with my parents who live across the field) with our three children (ages 7, 3, and 1) , 2 dogs, 3 cats, 15 chickens, 1 guinea, 2 turkey's, and 1 goat. We have had chickens for about 10 years and just got our first goat this past weekend! We bought her from the local Amish and we have been milking her.
Hubby works full time as a sanitation worker/truck driver and I recently became a stay at home mom in January 2014.
I'm new to the goat thing and looking to connect with others for advice and support!
