Hey ya'll! Family and I purchased a small 2.5 acre homestead out here in corn/soybean country about 3 years ago. We do a lot of gardening/homesteading type things, have chickens, barn cats, and have 3 NDG's incoming in the next month. We are also considering Dexter cows and/or IPP pigs, we just need to figure out what our land can handle. The farmer we purchased the house from is retiring in the next couple years, and fingers crossed we can get some more acreage when he does. Looking forward to talking with like-minded people who can help with what I'm sure will be many questions!
