Of course while we're trying to get Sid to come around, we adopted a new female llama. Meet Llorelei. She's a 7 month old rescue.

Here are pictures of her and Sid.

Yeah, she's a mess, but she is a sweetie.

Well, she's a great kid, and I mean it. Typical llama. Standoffish, but curious. Not aggressive and very sweet tempered. I think she'll do just fine in the herd. I'm going to have to shear that lovely, heavy, tangled mess of a coat so she can be comfortable in the summer. But right now, I'm just trying to get her used to everything. And I have Sid to worry about.

I am trying to locate a llama or 2 for my goats. Do you know a source I can use to adopt one?

Greetings and welcome to BYH. Glad you joined us. Not sure where or even if it's possible to "adopt" a llama... I guess I would probably start with Craig's list both looking as well as posting a "llama wanted" ad. Maybe search for llama breeders locally, they might know of someone wanting to get rid of one... Good luck with your quest! Meanwhile, please consider adding at least your general location to your profile as it's pretty important when asking for or offering help/advice. Also, maybe make a quick trip to the new members threads and do a quick intro so folks can welcome you. https://www.backyardherds.com/forums/new-member-introductions.17/
Make yourself at home and browse around some.
