Hi All,
I'm new to the forum but not new to goats. We have a new La Mancha who is going to give birth any day now. I'm going to be a grandma. I'm so excited. Our La Mancha is a medium brown color with a white patch on her back. It's her first kidding. She'll be three years old this summer. She was bred with an Alpine by her last owner. We bought her almost 2 1/2 weeks ago. Just this morning, she started to vocalize and get up and down, making nests. I was looking online and it doesn't say how low before birth from this point. She's barely starting to get that glossy look at the bottom of her udder. She is so sweet. It's my first La Mancha.
