I just might give it a try because I am not sure that the neighbor is growing organic but I am not complaining because it's zucchini.

I went out to the garden and got some more tomatoes. I did get 1 green bean. I already need to go pick 2 of my pumpkins. They won't last until October. They are super orange and small not mini. Pumpkin Bread will be so good.
Harvest begins! Already have picked 2 orange pumpkins here - compliments of sheep so they got to eat them. They also planted white pumpkins - 3 hanging on the vine still growing. I have talented sheep :lol:

I have a question for everyone. I don't have a lot of power tool knowledge but I love hand tools. So does anyone have any ideas, maybe include pictures even if it's just a drawing, for how to make a duck enclosure with a small pond. I was also wondering if anyone would have any ideas for building a chicken coop. I have so much wood from the back fence that we put in. I just don't have a lot of skills. Anything would help. Thank you in advance.

I built two hoop coops for my chickens. I have little power tool knowledge, though I love my cordless drill.

Check out my thread 'My Little Hoop Coop' https://www.backyardherds.com/threads/my-little-hoop-coop.44739/

@Baymule builds one as well.

Here’s a link to a hoop coop I built in 2015.

Had a busy day today with the granddaughter. Got home and started watering the chickens and looked down over near the rooster and just about had a heart attack. I saw something moving and it was the snake that scared me a couple of weeks ago. It just about scared the holy bajeebies out of me. He gets to stay though because he had a mouse in his mouth. He was just a little garden snake.
