I am concerned about my new kids they were born today an tonights low is 42 I put short sleeve onesie on them to help keep them warm do I need a heat source as well??? They are inside a small 8x8 tin building that has two door ways that are open across from each other one a temporary pony wall (hadn't finished the new doors) the other side is just a gate so their is of course wind.

Do they have a doe with them? Best to block as much wind as possible at only 2 days and deep straw bedding. If mom with them they will snuggle with her for heat. At this age, body temp control is compromised still. The shirts will help.
