Hello!

I'm Mom to 1 Quarterhorse filly, 2 goats, 3 flocks of chickens (couldn't bear to part with the roosters so gave them each some ladies to watch over), 3 dogs, an occassional pig, and a cat with no shame or self respect whatsoever.

I retired my Alpine dairy goat (Annabelle)for health reasons and since she needs a new job, we are learning about using goats as pack animals. If anyone here has any experience in this area, I would love to hear from you!

My horse (Libertybelle) is a yearling with a promising future as a trail horse. This will be the first one I've started on my own but my girl is an amazingly brave, calm, and sensible prospect with a good head on her shoulders.

I look forward to being part of this community and getting to know the people here!

:frow Nice to have ya!

Haven't ever heard of using goats for packing but I can't see why not. They use them to pull carts and such.

Post some pics if you finally do this? We love pics around these parts! :)
