Odd thing about me is that I much prefer hybrids to purebreds. I'm specifically scouting for a nice boer/dairy cross buck.. I had been thinking boer/nubi, but then my offspring would have been F2...not quite as much hybrid vigor that way. When I saw the little 3/4 boer with alpine blood, though, I thought...now that guy could be a real winner to cross with boer/nubi F1s.

Oh well.. Northwest is the opposite corner of where I wanted you to be anyway.

I sold one of my billy kids last year to someone that was looking for what you are describing...I had fullblood billy and the cousin to this one for sale. They preferred the Xbred to the fullblood...Worked out for both of us. He made a very nice herd sire for them at not a terrible price. I saw him last month and he REALLY filled out nicely. They have a small herd of Togs. that they milk.
Yeah but to have a good wether you need to start with a good billy....
