Why are you going through all that work to feed it to the bottle kids? Why not drink it yourself?

One reason I'm not drinking it yet: I haven't bought proper filters yet nor have I shaved her udder yet. 
I will get filters as soon as I get to town. Anyway, I don't think it's super-clean yet but my work-flow for that is improving daily.
Second reason: We buy raw cow's milk for home use & to feed the kids. So the stuff we buy is just as good... Hopefully when the kids are done with bottle feeding, my cow will supply our household & we won't need to purchase milk.
I think it would be cheaper to keep buying raw milk, though. They are farmers and make their own hay - so they only charge a pittance for their milk. I know I can't feed my cow & milk her myself for what they charge for a gallon of milk ($2.50, I pay them extra so I don't feel like I'm stealing it)...
