Gizmo doesn’t jump right. She boings. Ya know how the front end precedes the rear?
Yeah, that doesn’t happen. She boings up in the air somehow, all 4 feet at same time. She can boing pretty high and pretty far.
When I’m trying to get in the recliner (which is enormous, almost big enough for me and Boone, and sometimes he sits with me anyway) it takes a bit if situating for me to achieve the best position to accommodate my back and both hips. I also have to arrange 2 pillows and a blanket ; (I get cold easily) so I aak her to wait… but she always boings prematurely, so I either have to throw enough dog treats around the room to accommodate both her and Boone, as it’s a competitive sport, and hope for time to finish getting situated, or accept the position I’m in, while marveling over her levitation skills. I’m also forced to pet her or else she growls and bats at my face with her front feet. Don’t stop until after she’s asleep, or suffer the consequences.

My internet is really acting up! I can’t search anything for answers but I was able to get here.
They totally scarfed up all the rabbit in the Hasenpfeffer. It was really good. Potato soup tonite if I can manage standing long enough to throw it together. This. Back/hip thing is really getting in the way. Consult with surgeon Tues 3. Hopefully surgery won’t be too far out. It was like an 8 mo wait or something for our hips, shoulder, etc.
Used up most of my “spoons” cleaning kitchen this morning as I absolutely couldn’t do it last night. Gonna try 10 minute ahifts and see if I can manage. ☺️

I really hope you don't have to wait 8 months. At least it should be easier scheduling appointments at this time of the year, rather than the end of year. :hugs

I didn’t know that. I hope you are right.
I started putting the wallpaper in the bathroom we started remodeling last spring. Maybe we’ll get it done while I’m still alive to see it! I had to make several trips up and down the step ladder prepping the wall and measuring, then to the backroom to measure and cut the paper then back to put it up. I was REALLY off balance and was ricocheting off everything in the house I passed this morning trying to walk so getting on step ladder was a little scary but there was no other way. As it was, I was only good for 3 strips before the pain in my back and hips was too much. I can tell I’m going to like it though, when it’s all done. I need to buy light blue paint for the wall over the tub and blue towels though.

You can’t tell but there are a couple shades of blue in the wallpaper. I think it will pop up when it’s finished. I’ll take pictures then. Don’t hold your breath. At the rate I move it could be awhile

Giz comes in when I lay down now and flops over pressing her back against mine. Idk why but it feels really good. Boone usually lays parallel to me with his big old head on my hip.

I’m so grateful for them. I couldn’t survive without their support. I had two days without really cooking cuz I made ham& potato soup and French Bread then Chorizo and eggs so tomorrow I have to make lamb shanks.
It’s been awhile so I had to check to make sure I have all the ingredients. Looks like we do.

If I can get Randy’s SS started I could afford a couple of lambs next spring. I had 4 ewes and a ram before and ate or sold all the babies, would there be an issue if I only had one ewe for the ram? Since I can’t use the pasture anymore cuz boss won’t let me, all I have is hay, my yard and a small alleyway once Boone is good with them in the daytime and I can fix the fence. But it kills me not having lamb to eat.

That's going to be very pretty when you get it finished. 💞

That wall paper is so light and airy, it really makes a change in looks. So pretty! I've used wall paper before, it makes a great difference. I wall papered the bathroom when my daughter was a baby. I had newspaper laid out in the hallway so I could brush glue on the wall paper. She came crawling to see what Momma was doing and crawled down the hallway. She sat up and had newspaper stuck to her! So cute!

Why can't you use a pasture for a few sheep? Good grief, they have 250,000 acres!!! :he
