I am hoping if today’s injections show the procedure would be successful I can get off or at least limit the Percocet. Thanks for the info I will follow-up on it.
Meantime :

The raspberry sauce was perfect on pork roast ! It would be awesome over crepes or ice cream !

Here’s the instructions. I used raspberries from my garden that I froze

1 package (12 ounces) frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed, divided
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon each ground ginger, nutmeg and cloves
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter

Use a sieve to get rid of the seeds. Dump the pulp and juice in pan with everything else. Bring to boil for 2 minutes, stirring so it doesn’t burn and so the cornstarch smooths out.
So good!

I have a friend with Fibro. She went on the Keto diet and it greatly improved. Is that something you've ever tried? I was on Keto for two years and I felt so good, it improved my asthma (I never had an attack while on keto) and arthritis pain. It reduces inflammation. I'm considering going back on it, because of how good I felt. It is very restrictive, but the feel good results were amazing. It changed my whole knowledge of nutrition and made me aware of what we should or shouldn't consume. I still eat a fairly low inflammation diet.

There are also new studies coming out about glp1's improving fibro. Enough that it's something I would look into and consider.
Yes. Actually I love keto. It is difficult however, with 2 men in the house that tend to gobble up whatever I have prepared for myself 🫤

I ‘m not allowed to bend , or do virtually anything for 2 days, including shower or even heat, but I can say I am already in considerably less back pain, so I want to opt for the permanent surgery
Unfortunately he showed me the results of xrays and MRI showing extensive damage to my spine all the way up but apparently insurance does not allow treatment above the lower part of my back. He hopes this will at least make life tolerable and I might be able to walk short distances and even cook if this is successful.

So far the pain is much diminished! I am hardly even needing any Percocet at all, and that’s pretty remarkable considering I needed them every 4 hours around the clock for years. Down to about 2 a day 😍

Weakness is a problem, and fatigue. I haven’t slept well for whatever reason. I tried the electric potato peeler this morning. How did I not know this was a thing! Absolutely no regret about getting it. I have a bowl of yukon golds peeled and cut into fries. I will parboil tomorrow and can them.

I have not heard anything from Cody. My heart just hurts. I miss him so much.

That's such awesome news. As the pain goes, you'll be able to do more and your strength will start to come back. It isn't a sprint, it's a marathon, take your time and slowly heal. 💞

I'm still praying for him. :hugs
