I made meatloaf and mashed potatoes last night and an apple pie, using store bought crust. The crust was awful vi was hoping it would be good and I could make more pies than I do, as it’s hard on my wrists and hands, but it looks like I will have to keep making them.
Something I did tweaked my left hand and it hurts bad to move it in any way. Which raised a host of questions…
How fo one armed people dress themselves? I can only pull up the r side of my pants….

I use the ready made pie crusts that are rolled up, not in a pie pan. They're actually good tasting. I made a pie today using the Aldi brand of crusts, though Pillsbury also makes them.

I used a store bought graham cracker crust for Thanksgiving. It actually tasted ok. I wasn't expecting much, though.

Miss Gizmo slept in the recliner with me last night. She squished in beside me with her head on my lap all…night…long. I now have both pie crust and stiff mutt syndrome.

I got my coffee made, set my cup down, got into my chair and she clawed her way up and draped herself across me so I could not breathe and insisted I pay her attention.

When I opened my eyes this morning, she SQUEALED and posted herself on top of me to smother me in kisses…yeeech!

I proceeded to give into her demands and pet her. I wish you could have seen her expression when I grabbed my kindle!! She wants my FULL attention!!

My coffee is getting cold and I must set the phone down

Thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed reading that. I think Caleb would be perfect for that work.

The 9/11 dog stories are incredibly touching as well. Someday I would like this print on my wall.
