Picky female goat

I have a female goat, who considers herself the herd leader, she has been in heat 3 cycles now, she hates my blk/white billy, Will not go near him and if she does, she beats the poor guy up, he is young, so Today I let my Kinder Billy out because she seems to like him, Bred her immediately...... She was very willing..... Any pne else have a picky female and why ????

Certain does do like certain bucks more but I've never had one that would not allow herself to be bred when she was in heat.

Our Brandy would not let Dude breed her for over a year. We brought them home together, and she had a kid that was still with her when we took her away. He was the same age as her kid, and I think she just adopted him and wouldn't breed with her 'son'. Finally, this year he is almost 2 yrs old and she finally left him breed her. Does do know what they want in a man I guess.
