Hello,
I live in northern California (Redding) normal winter temp get down in the 30's but can get down below freezing. We only get rain here.
Okay I have 3 pigs that are 13 weeks old. And I am building a house. I have 4- blue Chip pallets that I am going to use for the base. I am going to put plywood down on pallets. Then straw. Here is my question.
4 pallets look way to big and am thinking of only using 2 pallets. They will stay warmer. Is 2 pallets to small or should Use 4 pallets? Thanks Karl

thanks for the reply, being winter and all doesn't need to be fully enclosed. I read that pigs need to stay warm cause they can get sick easily in the winter is this true?

Where are you located and does it get real cold there? Are you building a 3 sided shelter or 4 sides with a wide door opening?
