Where is life taking Poka these days?????
Figured I might come on with another update.
I'm not sure I have really discussed it here, but in August of 2021, I left the place I grew up in, to move up to Wyoming, to just change things up. The journey has not come without a challenge or two, including a rollover car accident, but I have learned so much. This past fall, I woke up one day and realized 4-H was over, and I wasn't sure what I would do with myself, so I began running. Like I said in my last post, I did my first marathon about a month ago, and I know this is only the beginning. I have a ton of goals lined up for the coming months, and well into the future. Last summer, I did go home to finish 4-H, and I couldn't be more grateful I had that opportunity to do so. But this summer, I have accepted a job offer to work for a goat dairy up here. I miss having sheep, and everything 4-H has done for me, but I also am so incredibly grateful for everything I have gotten.
No pictures this time, but maybe some in the future from all these incredible adventures I have had.

Well, I figure it is time to come back for another update.
The spring has flown by, and I will be leaving for my next adventure tonight. Kinda crazy for me, but I am also super excited. Hopefully they will let me share pictures, but I am off to take care of dairy goats, and learn a ton. Should be a great experience. And from the instagram pictures I have seen, the goats are all adorable.
Ran my second marathon this past weekend, can't believe how quickly I went from showman to distance runner, but couldn't be happier. Also competed with my horse Ticket (bonus points for anyone who can guess his show name) last weekend and had a ton of fun. It was bittersweet sending him home for the summer, but I know he is happy to be back with his friends, and my mom missed him.
Couple photos just because.

I believe this picture was somewhere after mile 20, the picture does not quite show the pain I felt, but it was so worth it.

Thanks guys!!!
Been here almost a week and absolutely love it. I never wasn't a goat person, but I am definitely becoming a goat person more and more each day.
Couple pictures just for the fun of it. Learning a ton but got so much to still learn.
Also, I don't know what else to share, but I guess if anyone has questions about how the goat dairy works, feel free to ask.
