The past few times I milked one of my does when I filtered it there were a few tiny bits of what looked like skin cells on the filter paper. I am not sure if it is just some dead cells sloughing off of her teats or what. It is definitely not mucus, her teats don't seem sore or dry and there is nothing else on the filter paper except for an occasional hair. I do a couple of shots into a strip cup at the start of milking and that all looks fine.
Is this normal?
